Welcome to the City of Farmington, Mississippi – a safe community built on strong values and hard work. Farmington offers everything a person could want in a small city on the move including safe neighborhoods, nearby shopping, wonderful places to worship and friendly faces.
Originally chartered May 15, 1838, Farmington was unable to remain chartered after being burned in 1862 during the Civil War. Since re-incorporation in 1997, city leaders have worked to lead Farmington in the right direction.
Farmington is a safe family-oriented community that is prospering, growing and welcoming to all. Our historical past is glorious, our present is heartening and our future is bright!
