The Board of Aldermen and I would like to welcome you and your family to Farmington, Mississippi. Originally chartered May 15, 1838, Farmington was unable to remain chartered after being burned in 1862 during the Civil War. Since re-incorporation in 1997, the Board of Aldermen has worked to lead Farmington in the right direction. More

*May 16, 2010, Alderman Hank Barrett retired from the Board after 11 years of dedicated service to the City of Farmington.

The City of Farmington monthly board meeting is every third Tuesday at 6:00 PM at City Hall and is open to the public. Regularly scheduled court proceedings are the first Wednesday of each month at 10:00 AM at City Hall, and are open to the public unless the Judge rules otherwise.
