Farmington City Hall is home to free children’s library.
Girl Scout Troop number 23806 built and installed the Little Free Library for children in front of the Farmington Town Hall.
The project was for junior Girl Scouts (fourth and fifth graders), who earned their Bronze awards after the library was complete. The project had to be permanent, sustainable and would serve the community.
Located at Farmington Town Hall, the project will provide free books for children in the Farmington area. The tiny library will be part of a fast-growing non-profit organization that has created a database of free libraries where the idea is “take a book, leave a book.” People can borrow or donate a book at any time of day.
